An angel figure is covered by poisoned fog

Looking for pictures prior to the day of the death in 2009, turned into this image when sanitation workers fumigated the cemetery to prevent dengue fever. During the day of the death celebration, cemeteries around El Salvador get packed with people who come to remember their relatives.

  1. Great photos, Cabezas! I know you have a lot of good stuff. Forgive me for this, but writers are crasy and always tempted to correct copy. Found some mistakes in the description, here’s the revised one: “During the day of the death celebration, cemeteries around El Salvador get packed WITH people WHO COME TO remember theIR relatives.” Just in case you want to correct it. You can erase this message afterwards. I hope to see more great photos here.
